March 15, 2007 : The NERDS Group wins follow on contract with Montgomery County, Maryland
The NERDS Group is pleased to be selected to provide networking, technical and web related services to Montgomery County in support of the Department of Public Works and Transportation, Traffic Management Center. The NERDS Group also provides network support services to the Department of Homeland Security's Emergency Operations Center under this contract. This is the third time that NERDS has won this full and open competitive procurement. This new contract, like its predecessors is a 3 year effort. In addition to the TMC and EOC, The NERDS Group will also provide Systems and Network support to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service and the 911 Call Center. We are pleased and proud to support the mission-critcal needs of these important agencies.

2006

April 1, 2006 : The NERDS Group provides IT services to The Donaldson Group
The NERDS Group is excited to be the new technical and network support vendor for The Donaldson Group, a full service real estate management and investment company. Support will be provided for offices in Northern Virginia, Montgomery County, Howard County, Harford and Baltimore County and City. The NERDS Group will provide Systems and Network support for 17 offices and will be responsible for regular network and systems maintenance as well as responding to problem calls.

January 30, 2006 : The NERDS Group's New Web Site
The NERDS Group is proud to release our redesigned website. We strived to make the site more accessible and easier to navigate. Some of the new inclusions are the Case Study and News pages. The Case Study page will document some of the bigger projects NERDS has taken on, in the past and present, to explain our capabilities. The News page and archive will have information on what is happening with the NERDS Group as well as information on updates or our clients systems. We hope the new website will help our clients and potential clients gather more information on The NERDS Group in an easier and more efficient way.

The NERDS Group is an 11 year old woman owned small business located in Silver Spring, MD. NERDS is a MD Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Business Reserve certified in both Montgomery County and the State of MD. One of The NERDS Group's major clients is Montgomery County where they provide IT services to the Department of Public Works and Transportation's Traffic Management Center and the Department of Homeland Security's Emergency Operations Center. They also provide IT services to small and medium size businesses.
