NERDS Remote Support Service

It is good to know that with NERDS Remote Support Service, a NERDS Group technical support engineer is nearby regardless of how dire the situation may be with your computer or network problems.  The reason is our technical support engineer will quickly diagnose your computer and network problems to provide an instant solution without you scheduling an on-site support call or waiting for an engineer to show up at your door.  However, how does the whole process work from the the users' standpoint?

The following are the screenshots showing you how the remote process experience is like and how it all works:

1) First you'll go to http://www.nerds.net/servies/remote_support.html and click on the link:

2) Second click on Run - If you're running Internet Explorer, you'll get a File Download - Security Warning like this

3) Click on Run - If your loading Internet Explorer as your web browser, another Security Warning box that looks like this will appear, and you can safely click Run:

4) Voila! The RDS Client is running on your screen!  Enter your NERDS Technical Support Engineer's Number, Agree to the Terms & Conditions, then click on the Connect button.

5) That's all there is to it!  You are now connected!  When the demo is over and the session is disconnected, all the remote control software will be removed from your computer.
